You’d like a good view on life despite your significantly limited eyesight?
In our Visual Aid Centre a certified Low Vision Trainer will advise you on the options for sight-enhancing visual aids and practises with you their optimum usage, suited to your needs.
A LOW VISION training session includes:
- Clarification and usage training in visual aids
- Clarification of functional sight capability
- Clarification of light requirements, aperture and contrast sensitivity
- Clarification of the necessary filter effect for light shielding glasses
- Consultation with problems working at a screen
- Tips in the area of everyday skills for the visually disabled, etc.
- Information on early stimulation, school-enrolment issues, professional training and rehabilitation for the visually disabled, consultation and support possibilities, etc.
With us, you can get to know and try out the following visual aids:
- Short sight glasses (safety short sight glasses, hand-held short sight glasses, illuminated short sight glasses, fixed reading glasses, add-on short sight glasses, reading wand, short sight glasses on a cord, etc.)
- Short sight glasses, hyper-ocular
- Prism short sight glasses
- Screen-reading apparatus
- Telescopic short sight glasses
- TV telescopic glasses
- Monocles
- Edge filter glasses
- Lighting, etc.
